This tranquil trail was opened in April 2011 after months of landscaping and engineering by students and faculty of BYU. It follows a irrigation canal that was used to water the farms and orchards of Orem and Provo in the 1800's. After decades of abandonment and use as flood-control channel, BYU installed an underground drainage and flood-control system freeing up the land for a new use.
Heavily vegetation, natural rocks, and manicured lawns create a picturesque and shady walk with the sounds of waterfalls and a running stream quieting any outside noise. This may be the most beautiful walk in all of Utah County.
