Petition – Fair Zoning in Provo!

Current city law limits discriminates against single unrelated adults.  Families can have unlimited numbers of related adults in their homes yet singles(unrelateds) are limited to only 3 per home! (even if it’s a 4 bedroom home or larger!)

The government shouldn’t be counting how many people sleep inside your home! The law shouldn’t treat single adults as second-class citizens.  Let’s get rid of the double standards!

Fair Zoning Petition

We the undersigned citizens of Provo, Utah respectfully demand
that the City Council change the existing zoning laws so that:

“Zoning ordinances may not discriminate based on
whether the adult residents are related or unrelated,
whether the residents are renters or owners,
or the age of the adult residents.”
