On July 24, the Pioneer Day Extravaganza takes place in North Park at 500 N. 500 West from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Enter a pie in the Homemade Pie-oneer Cook-off. (I've judged this. I love this! This year the Sweet Tooth Fairy, Megan Faulkner Brown, is one of our judges!) Enjoy local musicians, see live animals, play children's games and create simple crafts. Explore the Pioneer Village, the Native American Village and the Mountain Men Encampment.
